Theo, who owns the shop with his twin brother Andrew, was introduced to Coolio before his death.

The chart-topping Gangsta’s Paradise performer popped into Compton Burgers in 2019 to do some cooking.

From there a regular parade of famous visitors have come through the doors.

Mullings, wearing a Compton shirt and hat visited the store with a close friend and signed a card for Coolio as a sign of respect.

“Everyone had a great time and it was an unforgettable experience for all involved,” Theo said.

Mullings even sang along to Red Red Wine with the Compton Burgers family.

Harlow, known for hits What’s Poppin and Industry Baby, visited Compton Burgers in July last year.

He took the brothers up on their invitation to stop by during his Australian tour.

Just hours before appearing on stage at HBF Stadium, Harlow ordered the store’s specially-created Harlow burger.

During Harlow’s visit Theo said: “It was awesome for my staff but it was just normal to me, I’ve had Coolio here before.”

Members of hardcore US Hip Hop group Onyx, Fredro Starr and Sticky Fingaz also dropped into the store last year.

The group, which formed in the late 80’s, is best known for their 1993 platinum hit single “Slam”.

One of their songs also featured in Eminem’s cult classic film 8 Mile.

They both had a go at crafting their own “Slam burgers” after they heard Coolio got behind the grill on his visit.

The pair, who were captured creating their burgers on camera, paid tribute to the late rap star and spoke about their music and latest video.

Theo said Onyx, who were brought over to tour Perth by Launch Australia, is known for pushing the boundaries of hip-hop and rap.
